Next, check if it contains calibration library files.

For Qualcomm: system/vendor/lib/camera/com.qti.tuned. \\sensor_id\\.bin or system/vendor/lib64/camera/com.qti.tuned.\\ sensor_id\\.bin.
On older platforms: system/vendor/lib/libchromatix_\\sensor_id\\ _common.so or system/vendor/lib64/libchromatix _\\sensor_id\\ _ common.so.
For MTK: system/vendor/lib/\\sensor_id\\ _mipi_raw_tuning.so or system/vendor/lib/\\sensor_id\\ _tuning.so.

If such files are present, you have a chance to fine-tune the camera settings to your needs.

Important: editing these files does not guarantee that your phone will continue to work. Everything you do is at your own risk. We do not encourage file modification — this is discussed purely in theory as part of exploring the potential of mobile cameras.

Next, you need to either copy the suitable file from the device or connect the phone via ADB to Lens On Phone – Suite. Depending on the device type, select QProject or MProject to start importing the library. Once the library is imported, you will have access to the default calibration features in the software. You can extend functionality through the Rule Parser or MTK Calibration Assistant.

If the calibration succeeds, you can try replacing the optics — now you can be confident it will work for you!
